Inspiration for Design
The Marriage Lines Shawl is knitted in an earth colour with silver representing the fleet to shore relationship. 
The lines are close together going up and down across the shawl, symbolizing the two lives facing those involved in the herring industry.
This garment measure 1 meter 95 cm in lenght and 60cm width.
